Lifeguard Management Academy

The North Texas Aquatics Association has put together a training for Lifeguard Management and Leadership staff.  The goal is to help Aquatics Leaders prepare for the summer season.  Topics include water safety, pool maintenance, customer service, and personal/professional development.


Unfortunately, we are unable to meet in person, but we will provide the training virtually.


Access for viewing the training will be granted on May 10th. 













We are offering different package options:


Option 1: Lifeguard Management Academy Package:

For $50 you will receive access to the training videos and 4 shirts.

You can access the training videos as many times as you would like.


Option 2: Training Videos Only:

For $10 you will receive access to the training videos only.

You can access the training videos as many times as you would like.


Option 3: Additional Shirt:

For $10 you will receive a Lifeguard Management Academy shirt.

Meet Alissa Magrum and Jeff Holst from Colin's Hope.  Jeff will tell Colin's story. Alissa will talk about other children that have drowned in lifeguarded pools, what Colin's Hope does, your role as lifeguards and actions you can do to support Colin's Hope and remain involved. 

Meet Paul Macias from Farmers Branch.  Paul will discuss "The Summer of Karens" and how to deal with difficult customers/patrons.

Meet Ashley McKay from Plano.  Ashley will discuss the powerful benefits that lifeguarding and becoming a Head Guard has for personal and professional development.

Meet Tom Klimko from Denton. Tom will discuss different aspects of pump room operations.  You will learn what to look for and how to make sure your pump room runs successfully this summer.
